No. Our store will look and feel more like an upscale boutique. We won’t carry novelty items—just cannabis products and basic accessories like grinders and rolling papers for flower users. Expect a clean, professional environment.

We plan to start with at least 5 full-time jobs and grow to 10 positions over time. We’re committed to hiring locally and offering competitive wages.

Yes! We will host workshops and informational events to help the community learn more about cannabis. Topics will include home cultivation, safe use, and cannabis law. Free literature will also be available inside the store.

We will offer a wide range of products, including:

No. Alcohol is highly addictive and can cause dangerous withdrawal symptoms. Cannabis is not physically addictive, and no one has ever overdosed or died from cannabis use. It is generally safer and often used to promote wellness.

Cannabis can relieve pain, anxiety, and insomnia while also supporting overall wellness. On a community level, the town will receive 1.5% of all retail cannabis sales as tax revenue, helping to fund local programs and services.

No. We take youth safety & education seriously. All customers must show ID verifying they are 21 or older, and advertising will be restricted to ensure that products are not visible or appealing to minors. All items have childproof packaging.

Our store will have 24/7 video surveillance, alarm systems, and secure storage for all products. We follow state-mandated safety protocols to ensure both our customers and neighbors feel safe.

In addition to creating jobs, retail cannabis supports local businesses by driving tourism and encouraging economic growth. Towns across Vermont have already seen positive economic and social impacts from retail cannabis.

Not likely past the 1 in 5 adult consumers. Public consumption of cannabis remains illegal, and our focus is on responsible retail. Customers are encouraged to consume cannabis at home or in other permitted private spaces.

If the town votes in favor of retail cannabis, we’ll begin working with the Town’s Development Review Board to finalize our plans. We’ll also complete the property deal and begin construction in Spring 2025.
